30-Day Visa-Free Policy
Citizens from 75 countries, including the USA, UK, Canada, and Brazil, can enter China visa-free. The 30-day visa-free policy applies to nationals from specific countries, allowing them to stay in China without a visa for up to 30 days.

The 240-hour visa-free transit policy
Individuals from 55 eligible countries can enter visa-free through any of the 60 open ports in 24 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities), and stay within the allowed areas for visa-free transit travelers for no more than 240 hours (10 days). To qualify, travelers must hold an ordinary passport with at least 3 months of validity and possess an onward ticket to a third country within the 240-hour period.
- The applicant must be a citizen of oneof the following 55 countries that areeligible for the visa-free transit policy:
Europe (40 countries): Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Monaco, Russia, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Romania, Ukraine, Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Albania, Belarus, and Norway.
Americas (6 countries): the United States, Canada, Brazil, Mexico,Argentina and Chile.
Oceania (2 countries): Australia and New Zealand.
Asia (7 countries): Republic of Korea, Japan, Singapore, Brunei, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Indonesia.
- The applicant must hold a valid international travel document (with a validity of at least three months) and meet the requirements for entering a third country (region).
- The applicant must hold interlinepassenger tickets or other documents with a specified date and seat to a third country(region) within 240 hours, complete the Arrival Card for Temporary Entry Foreigners, and cooperate with checks and inquiries by exit-entry border inspection
