Southeast University + POSITION: Chinese Historic Architecture Research Camp
It is a journey to explore the ancient architectural sites in Northern China. In this camp, students will gain an understanding of the design principles, technical characteristics, and aesthetic interests of Chinese classical architecture through field surveying and mapping.
Southeast University + POSITION: Thailand Historic Town and Architecture Research Camp
The Thailand Chao Phraya River Watershed Historic Town and Architecture Research Camp expanded the scope of research to Southeast Asia. The camp encompassed field surveys, on-site instruction and other diverse teaching methods, as well as special academic lectures delivered by scholars from China and abroad.
Southeast University + POSITION: Countryside as a Sample of Construction Wisdom Research Camp
The camp was held in the heart of Zhejiang. The traditional villages nestled within this mountainous terrain and along the waterways are a testament to the holistic wisdom of construction—from Feng Shui principles to climate resilience and sustainable resource management, encompassing site selection as well as the craftsmanship involved.
